This week, TBS opened its doors to the community and invited OAPs to celebrate Christmas with us!
Students and staff at The Bolsover School, who are part of The Redhill Academy Trust, are celebrating success in this year’s GCSE examinations! 77% of students achieved a pass (grade 4-9) in English, which is a significant improvement on 2019 results. Similarly, 75% of students achieved in Mathematics, while 70% of the Year 11 cohort achieved a grade 4 or above in both English and Mathematics, which is another noteworthy improvement on the 2019 results.

Last week, a group of our year 11 students visited the University of Lincoln to take part in a Maths Masterclass!
We are so proud of Hayden, who completed his first triathlon at the weekend.
There has been lots going on at The Bolsover School this Spring term. From World Book Day to Science Week, our students have been getting involved in a host of great activities! We also love to celebrate our students extra-Curricular achievements, which this term includes a triathlon, a skydive, martial arts and much, much more!
This week has been Science Week 2022 and the Science department has hosted a range of activities to get our students involved in.
The Bolsover School has acted as a donation point for our community to donate items to the Ukraine relief effort.
