Congratulations to our Year 11 students who have received their GCSE results today after an unprecedented year. Well done, class of 2021, we can't wait to hear about everything you go on to achieve! 👏
On Thursday 22nd July 2021 our many of our Year 11's attended the Prom at Ringwood Hall Hotel.
The government has recently announced that the COVID Local Support Grant Scheme (CLSG) will be extended for the summer break for those children and families most in need during the ongoing pandemic. These grants are to help pay for food, gas, water and electricity during this difficult time. The summer scheme will be delivered utilising the same method as the May scheme.
Tomorrow we are switching over to a new telephone system in school, something which is through necessity rather than choice.
Important information for all Year 11 Students Attending the Prom 2021
The past 14 months have been very difficult for all students but none more so than those in year 11 and in their final year with us. Due to the relaxing of the Coronavirus restrictions being so uncertain, no steps have been taken to arrange a Prom for this year, but in light of the more positive outlook, we are now far more optimistic and have therefore provisionally booked a venue in a hope that an event can take place.
The Children's Commissioner wants to hear from as many children and young people in England as possible through #TheBigAsk.
On Tuesday, The Bolsover School issued more at home COVID-19 testing kits to our students.
