Year 6 Open Event

Derbyshire County Council will be contacting you shortly regarding your choice of secondary school for your child for September 2022. To help you make this important decision, we would like to invite you to our Open Evening on Wednesday 15 September 2021.

At the event, I will give a short address at 5:30pm and again at 6:30pm in our main school hall – you are welcome to attend one of these sessions. Please be aware that space in the hall is limited and will therefore operate on a first come first served basis. In between these sessions there will be an opportunity for you and your child to take a tour of our fantastic facilities here at The Bolsover School; giving you the opportunity to learn more about our facilities, ethos and curriculum.
I would like to point out that the intake for our school in recent years has exceeded our Pupil Admission Number (PAN); it would therefore be advisable to apply for your child’s secondary school place as soon as possible.
We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday 15 September 2021, however, if you are unable to attend this event and would like to arrange a tour of the school on an alternative date please contact my PA, Mrs Whittaker, on 01246 822105 extension 150.
